PeerBlock Won't Launch on Windows 7 System (2 replies)

Operating System: Windows 7 Pro. x64 SP1
PeerBlock Version: PeerBlock v1.2-r693 (as a portable)

Note: I am running this PeerBlock as a portable. How I got the portable is that at one time I installed to PeerBlock to a WinXP machine, copied the contents of the install folder to another folder, uninstalled PeerBlock and then just run it from the new (portable) folder that I created - it ran without problems on the WinXP system.

I've been using the PeerBlock version as noted above without issues for quite some time now. I was successfully using it on a WinXP system. However, I got a new computer with OS as noted above. Now when I try to run PeerBlock I find that I get the following error message (and PeerBlock won't launch):
